Where we are

## Care you can drive to, in the county you live in.

The Redpoint Center runs two offices in Boulder County. One is in Boulder at 2425 Canyon Blvd, Suite 250, and one is in Longmont at 1831 Lefthand Cir, Suite H. Both sit inside the county line, which means that for most people in Boulder, Longmont, Louisville, Lafayette, Superior, Erie, Niwot, or Lyons, treatment is a short drive rather than a move. Redpoint also operates sober living in Longmont, so [supportive housing](/mental-health-rehab-information/sober-living) and clinical care sit in the same county rather than an hour apart. Our other Colorado offices are on the [locations page](/locations).

Both Boulder County offices run partial hospitalization ([PHP](/php-partial-hospitalization-programs)) and intensive outpatient ([IOP](/iop-intensive-outpatient-programs)). Adult outpatient care is delivered by telehealth rather than from a particular office, and our [virtual IOP](/virtual-iop) reaches anyone in Colorado when getting to a building is the obstacle. You can see the [Boulder office](/locations/boulder-mental-health) and the [Longmont office](/locations/longmont-mental-health) in detail, including hours and directions, on their own pages.

Not everyone who comes to us is struggling with drugs or alcohol, so we run two distinct tracks. One is a primary mental health track for people whose diagnosis is a mental health condition on its own. The other is built for [co-occurring disorders](/colorado-addiction-treatment/dual-diagnosis), where a mental health condition and substance use are tangled together and neither improves much while the other is ignored. SAMHSA describes [integrating screening and treatment](https://www.samhsa.gov/mental-health/serious-mental-illness/co-occurring-disorders) for both, so that one team treats the whole person, as leading to better quality of care and better health outcomes. That is the model both tracks are built on.

Redpoint uses evidence based practices in all of our mental health and substance abuse treatment programming. We believe that healthy attachment and emotional regulation skills, followed by community immersion, are the keys to creating a compelling vision for your future.

## What else we treat.

Substance use rarely arrives alone. These pages cover the conditions we most often see beside a mental health diagnosis.

Who this is for

## The conditions we work with.

Common mental health conditions we address:

- Depression
- Anxiety Disorders
- Bipolar Disorder
- Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder
- Suicide Attempts or Suicidal Ideation
- Self-Harm
- Self Esteem Issues
- Personality Disorders
- Borderline Personality Disorder

Several of these have more depth elsewhere on the site, including [dual diagnosis](/colorado-addiction-treatment/dual-diagnosis) and our general [mental health treatment](/colorado-addiction-treatment/mental-health) page. For borderline personality disorder in particular, the National Institute of Mental Health notes that [psychotherapy is the primary treatment](https://www.nimh.nih.gov/health/publications/borderline-personality-disorder), which is why talk therapy sits at the center of the plans we write rather than at the edge of them.

The programming described on this page is for adults over the age of 18. Each treatment team is age and gender specific, trauma informed, and experiential, empowering participants to actively engage in creating, developing and utilizing practical recovery skills. The clinical curriculum is built on a series of themes meant to help each person find their own route to long-term recovery. Redpoint also runs separate teen and adolescent programming in Boulder County. Call (303) 219-0973 and we will point you to the right one.

Two of the conditions on that list can turn urgent quickly, and the county has real options for that. Colorado law (SB25-236) merged Colorado Crisis Services into [988 Colorado](https://bha.colorado.gov/988) on July 1, 2025, which made 988 the state's primary crisis and mental health line. It is free, confidential, and staffed around the clock by [call, text, or chat](https://988lifeline.org/). Alongside it the state runs [walk-in crisis centers and mobile crisis teams](https://bha.colorado.gov/behavioral-health/crisis). None of them requires you to be a Redpoint client, and the summary below is there so you do not have to go looking mid-crisis.

If you need help now

## Crisis support in Boulder County.

None of these is Redpoint, and none of them requires you to be our client. They are the fastest routes to a person, at any hour.

[

### Call or text 988

Colorado's primary crisis and mental health line since July 1, 2025, when Colorado Crisis Services merged into it. Free, confidential, and staffed 24 hours a day by call, text, or chat.

[

### Walk-in centers

Open 24/7/365 and able to see you in person with no appointment. There is one inside Boulder County, on West Century Drive in Louisville. They hold no overnight beds, so past about 23 hours they arrange somewhere that can.

[

### Mobile crisis response

Dispatched through 988 Colorado, mobile teams come to where you are, help settle the situation, and arrange follow-up care. Useful when leaving is not realistic.

### When it is an emergency

If someone is in immediate physical danger, call 911. Crisis lines are for the hours and days around that, not a substitute for it.

Getting started

## How the first week actually goes.

[Verify your insurance](/about-redpoint-colorado-drug-rehab-center/insurance-verification)

1. 1

    ### You call or text us

    Assessments are free

Reach us at (303) 219-0973, or text (970) 475-8646. You will speak with a person rather than a queue, and nothing about the call obligates you to anything.

2. 2

    ### We do a confidential assessment

    About an hour

We ask what has been happening, what you have already tried, and what your week actually looks like. This is where the primary mental health track and the co-occurring track get sorted out.

3. 3

    ### We set the level of care

    Not permanent

PHP and IOP both run at the Boulder and Longmont offices, and adult outpatient runs by telehealth. The level is a clinical decision, and it can move later in either direction.

4. 4

    ### We check coverage before you start

    Before day one

Redpoint is in network with ten major carriers and can accept some Colorado Medicaid policies. We verify yours and tell you what it means in plain numbers.

Common questions

## Questions we get from Boulder County.

### Do you treat mental health and substance use at the same time?

Yes, and that is the entire point of our co-occurring track. When a mental health condition and substance use are both present, treating one and postponing the other tends to stall both. SAMHSA describes [integrating screening and treatment](https://www.samhsa.gov/mental-health/serious-mental-illness/co-occurring-disorders) for both, so that a single team treats the whole person, as leading to better quality of care and better health outcomes. If substance use is not part of your picture, our primary mental health track exists for exactly that reason. Our [dual diagnosis](/colorado-addiction-treatment/dual-diagnosis) page goes into more depth.

### Does Colorado Medicaid cover care at Redpoint?

We can accept some Colorado Medicaid policies. Coverage varies by plan, so call us or submit an [insurance verification form](/about-redpoint-colorado-drug-rehab-center/insurance-verification) to find out about your specific coverage. We are also in network with Aetna, Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield, Carelon Behavioral Health, Cigna, First Health Network, Kaiser Permanente, Rocky Mountain Health Plans, Select Health, TRICARE, and United Healthcare.

### How much does treatment cost?

It depends on your level of care and your plan, which is why we verify coverage before you commit to anything. What we will not do is quote a number on a web page that turns out to be wrong for your situation. Our [cost and insurance guide](/about-redpoint-colorado-drug-rehab-center/iop-php-cost-and-insurance-guide) walks through how outpatient billing actually works, and a call gets you specifics.

### Do I have to live in Boulder County to be treated at these offices?

No. The [Boulder](/locations/boulder-mental-health) and [Longmont](/locations/longmont-mental-health) offices serve anyone who can get to them, and plenty of clients come from neighboring counties along the US 36 and Diagonal corridors. If the drive is the problem rather than the schedule, our [virtual IOP](/virtual-iop) delivers the same intensive outpatient structure by secure video anywhere in Colorado.

### Is this page about adult or teen services?

The programming described here is for adults over the age of 18. Redpoint does run separate teen and adolescent programming in Boulder County, deliberately kept distinct from the adult groups, and the fastest way to find the right fit for a young person is to call (303) 219-0973.
